Jaymz Horton

Jaymz Horton, originally from Chesapeake Va. started
playing drums at the age of 10. Getting started his influences were Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Sex Pistols, ect. Through time, music changed, his playing style changed, which lead to a more heavy aggresive playing style. Being introduced to bands such as Morbid Angel, Slayer, Deicide, Sepultura, and Cannibal Corpse, broadened his playing style and ability to create a much heavier style of drumming. In the late 90's Jaymz formed his first metal band Art Of Destruction. From there he went on to sharing the stage with some of the great heavy hitters in the music industry such as Testament, Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Hatebreed, Chimira, Black Dahlia Murder, Shadows Fall and many more. AOD would go on to sign on with Jagermiester as a full time sponsorship which helped put them on the Rockstar Energy Mayhem festivals. Now Jaymz is a part of a new project EMBERS OF SCION! A new wave Thrash-Deathcore band on the verge of a breakout!!!
