Woody Chiu

Woody Chiu is a 16-year-old drummer from Taiwan who began playing drums at the age of ten. Influenced by drummers such as Eloy Casagrande and Richie Martinez, he has developed a powerful yet versatile playing style that blends Metal, Rock, Fusion, Latin, Gospel, and Funk.

Despite his young age, Woody has already built an impressive performance résumé. He has collaborated with bands including SOS, Seeker, Noir Frequency, and Reverie, while also serving as a live drummer for numerous school bands and performances throughout northern Taiwan. His dedication to music has also earned him recognition in international drumming competitions, including First Place at the Guangzhou International Drum Competition, as well as other achievements in Asian drumming events.

As a proud Soultone artist, Woody continues to perform across a wide range of musical styles while constantly challenging himself as both a musician and performer. His long-term goal is to become an international touring drummer, concert drummer, and professional band drummer, performing with world-class artists while sharing his passion for music with audiences around the world.
