Stix Taylor was born and raised in Chicago, IL and now resides in Las Vegas with his wife and son... He is the Great nephew of “Queen of the Blues” multi Grammy award winning singer, the late Koko Taylor.
Stix Taylor is a self taught drummer and producer. His influences range from Blues, Hip hop, Jazz, R&B and Rock. Since moving to Vegas Stix Taylor has won 2 awards drumming for a Vocal group (2015) & for a Blues artist (2016).
Stix Taylor chose to be a Soultone Cymbals Artist because he loves the craftmanship of their cymbals...
