Born in the U.S, Steven was raised in the small city of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, where he picked up his first a pair of sticks in his middle schools band. Having the opportunity to get behind a kit for the first time and play, opened up a whole other world to him.

Having been introduced to a variety of musical genres as a child, it's no wonder he has the music in him. Being influenced by such Legends as: Bozzio, Weckl, Gadd, and S. Smith, Steven has since studied and developed everything he knows through practice and little formal instruction.

Though his journey has only just begun to get underway, since auditioning for a project in 2016 that has now been titled as The HASH; Steven has since earned his place as one of the founding members.

The Hash is the pioneer of the exciting and intriguing genre called Sitar-rock. This new genre crafts bright and at times dark rock music that touches on topics of frustration , inner difficulty and relationships with a healthy dose of sarcasm. As serious as the band is, one can not help but notice that these guys don't take them selves too seriously, even though they are a force to be reckoned with as a unit.

The frontman of the band has taught over 300,000 people how to play guitar via Youtube tutorials and is known as an up and coming guitar virtuoso. Steven brings his groovy beats to the table that compliment and act as the backbone of The Hash. Dedication, passion and drive has raised the band from being underdogs to having a strong brand across the World with no help from sponsors or any labels.

The Hash has been able to amass followers in a way that no other unsigned independent band has been able to internationally. The new generation as well as previous generation of fans of Eastern music are turning into The Hash's sound. The most common feedback consists of fans thanking The Hash for introducing rock music with the beloved sitar. "You made me love my culture again. Thank you!" A die hard fan from India.
