Samuel Jennings, a self-taught musician who learned his craft under the mentorship of Phillip Lowman, is a drummer with over two decades of playing experience. As graduate and alumni of Hostos Community College’s digital music program, and a recent Lehman College graduate, with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Music, Samuel is committed to intense study that continues to perfect his musical gifts as a musician, producer/mixologist, and videographer.

Samuel, previously the official drummer for Kizmit and Rhythm Republik, is also a seasoned theatre musician, and has played for numerous Off Broadway plays, including "The Road" and "Dry Bones.'' Currently, Samuel is the official drummer for Friendship Worship Center in Mt. Vernon, NY and has been for more than a decade. He also previously served as the drummer for the NYC Interdenominational Gospel Choir and Marble Collegiate Church.

Samuel has graced the stages with Artists as diverse as The Winans, Bishop Paul Morton, John P. Kee, the late Pastor Timothy Wright and many others. In addition to his fluency in gospel music, Sam’s experience includes appearances supporting Artists in the genres of jazz, rock and roll, rhythm and blues, neo-soul, hip-hop and reggae throughout the Tri-State area at venues such as Madison Square Garden,The Highline Ballroom ,The Prudential Center, SOB's Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Cotton Club, The Blue Note, and The Bitter End, just to name a few.

His musical influences include notable drum innovators such as Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers,
Steve Gadd ,Steve Jordan, and Jeff"LO"Davis.

In addition to his performance experience, Samuel has extended his expertise to include production. His latest projects include a jazz ensemble virtual performance by year's end and remixing Neo-Soul/Spoken Word Artist N’Tirzah’s eponymously titled freshman project, released in April 2021. Other projects include Ainsley Harris’ Video/Music Project entitled 12 Keys of R&B, a group collaboration that includes vocalists, keyboardists, bassists, horn players and drummers.
