Personal Bio:

My name is Ross Thomas from South Wales, United Kingdom. I was born 25/06/95 and currently the Drummer of a Thrash/Groove Metal Band called “Helldown”.

Since being young, starting on a CB beginner kit and later onto TAMA Hyperdrive Drumset, my prized possession at the age of 16 for which I bought from savings of my first job in
an Engineering firm. When I first learnt to play, I had drum lessons for a number of years but the repetition of playing pop songs became insanely tedious to me; I then took it
upon myself to develop my playing by ear and then later learning alot more as part of Helldown.

I am a Thrash/Groove Drummer. My main influences are: Dave Lombardo, Vinnie Paul, Nicko Mcbrain, Gene Hoglan, Stet Howland, Ingo Schwichtenberg, Charlie Benante and Mikkey Dee.

Currently also Endorsed by Agner Drumsticks & Cymskin Protection.

Band Bio:

HELLDOWN is a No-Bullshit Heavy Metal band formed in 2013, giving you relentless power and aggression with their Thrash/Groove sound. Described as the “New Wave of British
Thrash Metal”, their huge number of influences include everything from Thin Lizzy to Motorhead and Slayer to Pantera.

HELLDOWN have been privileged to share the stage with some great bands and with their devotion to metal will add many more to the collection over the years to come. Originally
formed by guitarist Matthew Evans and joined by brother Ben Evans as bassist and singer, the long search for the definitive line-up was completed with drummer Ross Thomas. Due
to an unexpected situation Chris "Brucie" Driscoll had to leave us. However, long term friend Lewis Larkman decided to take up the mantle and after a short while our set has
never been stronger.

With a self-titled 6 track E.P, and a video/single “THE WATCHERS” to give you a teaser to their metal prowess, the real experience is what the band bring to the stage.
