Influenced by all types of music at an early age, Ross Lacey started his journey on guitar. After playing for various bands and wanting a change, he moved to drums when he pieced together a kit and what broken cymbals he could find. After several years honing his craft Ross fell in with more groove oriented hard rock groups and started picking up speed in the local scene.
In 2015 Ross discovered the Soultone cymbals YouTube page and frequently viewed the different artist demos and videos for cymbal lines. When the opportunity arose for endorsement, he quickly jumped at the chance to work with one of the best cymbal companies in business today. Hopefully together the partnership can elevate the Soultone brand and Ross’ drumming career.
Ross plays drums for the band Sons of Cain. The band released their debut album The Book of Cain on March 15th, 2019 and is currently playing in support of it.
