For Memphis native, Ronald “Ron-Ron” Bowie, being a drummer all began at around two years old while watching his dad play the drums in church. His mother also played the piano, so he believes his parents’ love for music laid the foundation for his dedication to his craft.

Always playing with a smile on his face, Ron’s enthusiasm quickly becomes contagious for all those who watch. That passion has afforded him the opportunity to share the stage with such musicians/artists as Reggie Wooten(the Wooten brothers), Johnny Cotton (the Ohio Players/Chicago Blues All-Stars), Crystal Rucker, Tamela Mann, and more recently, Nashville-based vocalist Gale Mayes.

Ron believes in keeping God first in everything, and that, his dedication and persistence will always be rewarded.
