Robbie Hartle was born on April 11, 1996 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He always had a major fascination with music, receiving his first drum set at the age of 5. His father was a fan of classic rock and that lead to Robbie’s passion for music. Robbie’s favorite classic rock bands are Kiss, AC/DC, Queen, Ozzy Osbourne, Boston and Alice Cooper. Peter Criss (Kiss) had the most impact on Robbie, however and lead to his first major drumming influence. Throughout the years of playing drums and classic rock tunes, Robbie wanted to progress into harder drum pieces as he joined the school percussion program at Jackson School District in 2008. During this time Robbie started practicing Joey Jordison (Slipknot) and Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan (Avenged Sevenfold) drum pieces. It was also during this time that he joined a band called “Atrium”, but unfortunately the band split up after a year of playing together. In 2014, Robbie graduated from Jackson High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army- he will retire from the Army in February, 2020. In August, 2017 Robbie joined Once Rivals, a band from Cape Girardeau, MO and in the process of recording another album with the band. Once Rivals steadily plays thoughout Missouri and is looking to branch out into other states in 2019. Robbie’s top three influences still include Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan (Avenged Sevenfold), Joey Jordison (Slipknot) and Peter Criss (Kiss).
