Pericles Zuanon (August 19, 1977) is a Brazilian drummer who first knew music through his parents and his five brothers. So, very early heard sounds as diverse as Queen, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, The Who, Elvis Presley and The Clash, as well as the Brazilian artists Paralamas do Sucesso, Luis Gonzaga, Gilberto Gil, Rolando Boldrin, Itamar Assumpção, among others.

Carried away by his brothers to the Arena Theater in Araraquara (his birth city), seen live an Itamar Assumpção show with the Police Bait band, even with 4 or 5 years old.

As a teenager, around 14 years old, came into contact with the drums, while

ingested huge doses of Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pantera, Suicidal Tendencies, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill and Thaíde & DJ Hum (a pioneer brazilian rapper).

Shortly after, joined his first band Macabra, an ultra-heavy project where

held the drumsticks for 10 years (from 1996 to 2006).

Since then he accumulated experience and participated in numerous other

groups such as Corréra (thrash-metalcore), Isla Cogumelo (reggae), Dimas o Bandido (alternative rock), Renan Bamboo (new MPB), Madame Ravel (neo grunge), and Fuck No More (Faith No More Cover).

By twenty years old he plunged into a research by the roots of rock, when

discovered a great passion for country-folk names like The Band, Neil Young, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, etc..

The musician is now part of the Stereoitenta Band (80's pop/rock covers) and plays the Samba School bass drum at the Homem de Lata percussive project.
