Sensational drummer and industrious producer “Deuce” [also spelled: “II”] has spent most of his steadfast career behind scenes in the music world. Putting out mediocre music isn’t in his character therefore he’s spent many years studying under the direction of an assortment of illustrious musicians and music directors in the music world. Enriching his talent is always a must first and foremost. So not only is he an extraordinary drummer “Deuce” also plays snare(marching band), timpani and a various array of percussion instruments. His love for true music has led him to devote the bulk of this life playing in his father’s church in Melbourne, Florida. Born Patrick Michael Williams, II, “Deuce” began playing the drums at the age of three and has spent the years developing his craft as well as his own individualistic sense of sound. Even though his music takes a more laissez-faire approach, he is however influenced by gospel, classical, R&B, hip-hop, blues, and neo-soul, and funk. His musical inspirations growing up were his Uncles and local drummers in the local area. Through out the years he has been able to play oin various bands of different genres. He has been fortunate to play in the Daniel Kieth Band, Shay Maire, Russ Kellum Band,Ladies Of Soul and many more. He also recorded singles gospel artist Neecie Eliacin (Your Name and What A Beautiful Name). Currently he's the drummer for Souljam Band and for the last 6 years they have put out 2 albums (Where Are We Going?, Traveling' On) and a single (Disco Baby). He also plays with Truphonic and SWAAG band from time to time. Patrick is working on making the music that he can possibly make and he is working on making his mark in the music industry! Even though his dreams are still in the for front, he also wants to leave an everlasting impression every time he gets behind a drum set with his passion, joy and funky grooves that will be played.
