Khal’s passion for music began early at the age of 7 in Peoria, IL, drums being his first instrument of choice. Khal’smusical and drumming influences are Calvin Rodgers, Travis Barker, Dennis Chambers, Tony Royster Jr., The 4 Korners, George SpankyMcGurdy, Eric Moore, Darius Woodley, Dominique Austin just to name a few. Khal has had the esteemed honor to have shared the stage and played behind gospel legends such as Byron Cage, Marvin Sapp, Brian Courtney Wilson and Zacardi Cortez.
Khal is also a singer, songwriter and producer with an album currently available on all digital streaming platforms now titled KhalFani 21 And Over.
