Justin Smith, born and raised in Newnan, Ga. He bagan playing drums at the age of 5, and started playing for his home church at the age of 8. He is now the drummer for Word Of Faith Family Cathedral located in Austell, Ga. Justin also travels playing with corporate bands and has played with a numerous of artists. His influence in music began with his older brother, Kevin Smith, along with great drummers such as Chris Coleman, Calvin Rodgers, Sonny Emory, Nate Smith, Carlos McSwain, and Nick Smith (Soultone artist). He has been mentored by one of Soultone’s own, Jorel “JFly” Flynn, for the past 4 years now who has continued to show him the way to maintaining a successful career in music. Justin is also a producer and mix engineer. He has a love for reaching out to communities helping others find their passion in any profession as he demonstrates his passion through music. Justin is a very passionate musician and consistently looks for opportunities to grow as he continues his career in music.
