Josh Stokes is a multi dimensional Artist/ Producer/ Musician who actively shares his sound and passion of New Age Funk all over the world. Throughout the past twenty years, Stokes has performed, recorded, and toured with talented acts such as Redman & Method Man, Marsha Ambrosius, Kim Burrell, Erica Campbell, Future Islands, Jpegmafia, Abdu Ali, Joy Postell, Blaqstarr and more.

His mission is to continue world travel, sharing and creating beautiful sounds, and moments wherever he lands.

In 2020 alone, Josh concluded The Nimbus Tour (pre Covid) with fellow artist Puck (keyboardist for Sza) moving through Germany and Prague. The album Toons was released in May, showcasing a family of songs revolving life, love and funky sounds galore. He held two outdoor peaceful festivals in his hometown Baltimore, NuLove 1 and 2, both supported by the city and community. A documentary was created from this summer event, NuLove Fest Documentary. Staying active as a multidisciplinary artist, he also created his own animated series, Turd Ferguson and the Shitheadz, from illustration to sound production.

Continued work includes: Performing original music and drumming at major festivals, (Hopscotch Festival NC, Irrelevant Music Fest Atl, McDonald’s Inspirational Tour, RedBull Music). Participating in television and radio performances locally and international (Bet, Hulu, Sirius Xm, Boiler Room, NFL). Producing music in various mediums for films, TV shows and is a sponsored drummer with Los Cabos Drumsticks.
