Drums, Music, sound have been part of Joe Patten’s life for as long as he can remember. From the days of setting cardboard boxes and pie plates in the form of a drum set to walking into a Boston music store and seeing a glow around a drum set he just had to have. The instrument has been as important as the players such as Ringo, Bonham, Bruford, Copland, and Stubblefield. The music has shaped the player.

Joe has been very actively involved behind the kit and behind the mixing console in the Boston area for a quarter century. As an engineer the list is long and varied. As a player Joe cut his teeth with the progressive pop rock band Wrench in the 90’s and as a side play with varies original bands in the New England such of Dick Derry, Atlantic Blue, World Premier, Mystery Jones and Sparky. Joe is currently half of the strong rhythm section holding down the groove with Huxster.
