James C. Roberson

James Roberson was born April 22, 1985, in Denver, Colorado. His gift of artistry started at the age of two, which at that time he received his first drum set. James first performance was at his church, there he gave an outstanding drum solo. James had many leading roles at his elementary school. That opportunity led him to have an audition at the Denver School of the Arts. James attended DSA from 6th to 8th grade. After attending DSA he went on to attend John F. Kennedy high school, there he joined the Jazz Ensemble. James was presented with many opportunity to participate in Jazz Concerts, Shakespeare Festival and many Talent Shows. At the age of 13 James joined his first band, which was invited to play on weekend in the heart of downtown Denver.

As James grew older , the Minister of Music at Heritage Christian Center, Michael Williams invited him to play drums as a fill-in. After that performance, James was hired as a regular musician for the church. Being hired at Heritage Christian Center opened a number of doors and opportunity for James. He was invited to do his first album “We’ve Come To Praise” with the Old Landmark Praise Center. Following that album, James expanding his ability and musical talents. He had other offers to play on albums, such as “Jarion Hamm”, “As One Ministries”, Michael Williams and Eternal Life. Also, while at Heritage Christian Center, James has opened up for, or shared the stage with gospel artists such as The Clark Sisters, Smokie Norfolk, Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, Byron Cage, J Moss, Mary Mary, and many more.

James has the opportunity to be under the musical leadership of Kurt Carr, which at the time was the Minister Of Music at the Heritage Christian Center. Kurt has moved on to bigger in better things, which open up the position on Musical Director at the Heritage Christian Center.

Now we’re going to introduce you to the present James Roberson, better known as “J-Rob Productions”.

J-Rob Productions has released two solo albums. “Praise Him and “The Absolute Word Project.” He has produced many albums and songs. These albums are still in the process of being released. James look forward to advancing in the music industry and will go on to be the best of the best.
