I'm a drummer based in Pune, India. I've been playing drums for the past five years, primarily Hard Rock and Metal. As a listener and a musician, I like exploring the different sub-genres of Metal and love the fact that Metal challenges the status quo in its counter-cultural stance(s). I love the sound of Black Metal, Doom Metal, Melodic Death Metal, and old school Thrash Metal the most. My drumming influences include the likes of Bill Ward, Ian Paice, John Bonham, Marco Minnemann, Dave Lombardo, and Igor Cavalera. I've played drums in the thrash metal band Sephiroth and am playing in two other projects- progressive instrumental and melodic death/groove- yet to be officially announced. My first set of Soultone Cymbals comprises of the NOA series 13" hi-hats, 16" crash, and 19" ride. The cymbals are perfect for heavy playing! I love the precision of the sound and the bounce. The cymbals allow a lot of space for dynamics as well. I look forward to playing many more Soultone Cymbals in future.
