African born and Australian raised; Al Gakuru is a young bull with a passion
for drums.
With musical influences ranging from Latin / samba all the way through to
punk hardcore and death metal.

Playing in Brisbane hardcore bands Deathbed and Furnace as well as dream-pop
band Bloom Parade.
