We recently welcomed Stephane Jose as a Soultone artist. We asked him a few question about his experience with the Soultone cymbals.
Why did you choose to play Soultone cymbals?
I always wanted to play on Turkish handcrafted cymbals and I love the fact that each one of them is unique. It is a great plus to me that two cymbals of the same range and model might not completely sound alike. To be part of the long list of drummers endorsing Soultone Cymbals is a real honor. It is extremely important for me to play on high quality cymbals and to have options in terms of sound and textures so I can use the cymbals creatively when I play. In addition, Soultone Cymbals help me bring visibility on my playing and my music projects, and overall adds credibility to my career as a drummer.
What do you appreciate in Soultone cymbals?
I particularly appreciate that Soultone cymbals come in a wide variety of types, sizes and weights. They really give me options when it comes to actually getting the sound I am looking for when I choose cymbals.
Why do you think other drummers should try Soultone cymbals?
Drummers should try them because there are really versatile instruments. Whatever style of music you play, you'll be able to create a cymbal set that suits your style of music and your playing. Plus, they look great with any drum kit! :)
