Zachary Green is a passionate, hard-hitting drummer who exudes energy, precision, and power every time he steps to the kit. Born in Los Angeles and raised in New York, he grew up with a fierce combination of East Coast and West Coast styles, infusing elements of R&B, Neo Soul, Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, and Gospel into his playing. Green is a vibrant performer who gives you that hard, in-the-pocket feel, drawing attention as a visual attraction, in addition to his solid, road-tested chops. 

Over the past few years, Zachary has had a successful career as both touring musician and recording artist. In 2003, he toured with the Black Eyed Peas through Europe and Japan, and has more recently performed with platinum R&B artist, Rome. Green also recently tracked drums for the up and coming Ty and Kory album (Epic).

Zachary is currently performing in two different groups in Los Angeles. Every Sunday he performs in a gospel band playing to thousands each week, in churches all over greater Los Angeles. He is also a member of the Rock/Fusion band Subvrosa (www.myspace.com/subvrosa), where he is a contributing member to the band’s song writing and arrangement. Zachary performs with Subvrosa at least 3-4 times a month at venues like The Roxy and The Knitting Factory.

Green’s ideal cymbals set-up is comprised of a Soultone 20” ride, 19” and 16” crashes, 16” china, 12” high hat, and two splashes.
