George “Drummer Boy” Foreman

George “Drummer Boy” Foreman was born on August 19, 1986 in Norfolk, Va. He began playing the drums at the age of 3 years old.

At that early time he was able to display his musical gift in his home church, Miracle Temple in Kelford, Nc. Growing up in church , George was always surrounded by talented musicians. He was asked to perform for the first time at the age of 9. This was with a local gospel group. George became more talented over time and under the guidance of his father, Pastor George R. Foreman, Sr. who is now the pastor of his now home church, Tabernacle of Praise, in Aulander, Nc.

By the age of 12, George was well known in the local community and surrounding areas. This was accomplished by performing in concerts, talent shows and different churches. He has played and recorded in various studios. He presently performs with different groups such as Voices of Faith, Men of Praise and Anointed Singers of Praise. And many others upon request.

Being guided by many different styles and drummers such as Aaron Spears, Tony Roster, and Calvin Rodgers. This is only to name a few.

He also finds the time to work with local kids who show a strong interest in learning to play the drums. By giving these kids drum lessons, it helps keep the child focused and shows them that they can reach any level of excellence, with discipline, obedience and hard work. This also allows them to express themselves thru the music. Which is an accomplishment within itself.

His desire and compassion for music and be seen and felt by all who have and will learn from him. George is not only blessed, but a truly wonderfully talented drummer. A man who not only enjoys playing, but is able to live through his music. Being a member of the Soultone family is an honor and a life long dream.
