Gan Wei-Jiun

Born in Taiwan on September 2, 1986 and started his profession in jazz drums in June, 2001 and is particularly good at playing the genre of POP, ROCK, INDIE and POST-ROCK. After forming the POST-ROCK band, Bugs of Phonon, he has
participated in many music productions, included “L-003”(EP), “That’s A Nation What We Saw”(EP) and an album “A Midnight Town” of Bugs of Phonon. Wei-Jiun has played prelude of the shows for Japanese POST-ROCK bands
“MONO”,“TOE”and“MOUSE ON KEY” and has participated in many Taiwanese music festival such as Mega Port Festival, Spring Scream etc… He started to use SOULTONE’s cymbals in May, 2012, and intuitively thinks that SOULTONE is his ideal
brand for cymbals because of his fascinations on their unique overtone and beautiful appearances. By popularizing Soultone’s cymbals, he hopes that people can clear up the brand myths and pick the sounds by their ears.
