Gabriel Araya

Argentinian, was born in the province of Buenos Aires but grew up in the south of the country, Patagonia Argentina. At age 7 he starts playing the drums and studying piano teachers.
He developed as a teacher and session musician and played with various artists in the country. His musical training and career starts playing in a church, attending from a very early age to weekly rehearsals and then formally joining as a drummer, singer and music director in his Church. His influences are Gospel music, Jazz and Rock.
It is Endorser of Soultone Cymbals, Handmake Turkish Cymbals.

He was awarded a scholarship by the Souza Lima Conservatory to perform Mb Jazz 2017, Sao Paulo Brazil and Berklee, BOR III, Sao Paulo, Brazil. 2014.

He has performed at events such as the "San Martin de los Andes Jazz Festival",
"El Bolson International Jazz Festival," National Festival of the Apple "," Duke Ellington Sacred Concert Tribute "alongside the University of Comahue Choir." I play in concert tribute to "John Coltrane", "Charles Mingus", "Cannoball Adderley "," Thelonious Monk "and" Bill Evans. "He participated in the musical" Chicago "and the" Jazz Time "show together with the Patagonian Artists, and in 2016 he played with the Neuquén Symphony Orchestra "Celebrating the Day of Music" (Year 2016)

In his spare time Gabriel is passionate about reading, writing and frequenting movies.
