Eric Engstrom is a highly experienced, hard working, multi-faceted drummer based in the San Francisco Bay area. He currently plays regularly with several bands including the Carlos Herrera Band, Z and the Benders, Key Lime Pie and Dennis Johnson. Eric has also played with Dan Hicks, La Ventana, Barry Finnerty, Orchestra Luna and many others. He has played venues such as the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View. the Sweetwater in Mill Valley, CBGB in New York, and has done several international tours of Europe. Eric has also jammed onstage with Carlinhos Brown and Timbalada at Candeal in Salvador, Brazil. Eric’s drumming education started at age 9 and continued through the Berklee College of Music and lessons with Alan Dawson, Elliot Fine and Joe Hunt.
