Daniel was born in the South of Germany. He also grew up in that area and continues to live here to this day.
He started playing the drums at the age of 13. However, his passion for this instrument started even earlier.
In 2004, after several years of lessons and exercise, he and some of his friends and fellow musicians founded a cover band called „NeRo“. After many live performances on different stages, Daniel decided to leave the band, in order to gain experience in song writing. In 2007 and 2008 he started working in a studio, ultimately getting his first experience in album production.
In 2008, Daniel decided to play drums in another coverband, in which the members made a name for themselves in the field of „Deutschrock“. He was a part of said band for four years. During that time he would go on to perform in front of a crowd of 25000 fans at the biggest tribute festival called „GOND“.
In 2011 he attended multiple drum workshops, working with Bertram Engel among others.
In 2012, Daniel, along with his former „NeRo“ guitarist, decided to found a band called DARK VIOLENCE. In March of 2013 they already released their very first EP, which is called „silence“
In March of 2014 the band will go on to produce the first studio album, followed by a tour across Germany in fall of 2014.
Daniel exclusively uses his own signature sticks available at “DRUMLADEN" in Germany.
