Danny grew up in Marin County California and was fortunate enough to be mentored at a young age by Creek Hart son of Mickey Hart (The Grateful Dead). Danny studied under some of the greats like, Chuck Brown, Terry Bozzio, and Dana Miller.
Danny joined the Alan Parsons Live Project in March 2010 for their tour of Eastern Europe and The Middle East. Since then Danny has toured over sixty countries with the band and recorded a live double CD “LiveSpan” which was released in 2013. In summer 2015 the band will release a live DVD filmed in Medellin, Columbia.
In 2012 Danny became a music instructor at PJ Olsson’s Rock Camp, an in depth two week music program that is held once a year in Houghton Michigan. Responsibilities include instructing drum workshops, developing music and serving as a musical director to over sixty kids ranging from ages 11-18 years old.
2008-Present: Danny joined the Scott Weiland solo band (Velvet Revolver & Stone Temple Pilots frontman) and recorded tracks on albums such as “Happy in Galoshes”, “The Most Wonderful Time of The Year”, “Not Dead and Not For Sale” and Scott Weiland’s new band Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts’ first album “Blaster” with the release date of March 31st 2015. Danny has played the late night Television circuit numerous times making appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Last Call with Carson Daly.
2004-07: Danny was a member of The Mother Truckers (Austin based country rockabilly band) on Funzalo Records.
1998-2003: Protein, a band signed to Sony’s W.O.R.K. Group, released 2 full length albums and toured the U.S. with Sugar Ray, No Doubt, Limp Bizkit, Primus and Sublime. Also the band had an MTV Asia Buzz clip.

Danny toured with Sarah Bettens (K’s choice) and appeared in the “Can’t Get Out” music video. Through the years Danny has played with some real pros such as Les Claypool (Primus), Mark Rivera (Billy Joel), Vince Neil, Jacob Dylan, Doug Grean, Kip Winger (Winger), Eric Burdon (The Animals), Michael Devin (Kenny Wayne Shepherd and White Snake), Jay Bowman (Michael Franti and Spearhead), Miles Schon (The Miles Schon Band), Guy Erez (Ziggy Marley), PJ Olsson, James Iha (The Smashing Pumpkins) and Steve Jones and The Garden City Hot Club.
