Jimmy DeMarco is a 17-year-old drummer from Monroe, New York.
He has been playing drums since the early age of two. He’s
been playing professionally since he was seven. Over time he
has been in many bands, but is currently playing with
grunge/metal band, Fifty Habit.
Fifty Habit has only been existent for a little over one year
now, but already they are making big waves. They have
performed at such venues as The Pussycat Lounge, The Chance
Theater, and Club Snitch. As their video footage suggests,
they get a great crowd response wherever they play. They have
already recorded one CD, which was a huge hit with the fans,
and are in production of another.
Jimmy personally has played on many CDs as a studio drummer.
He’s done studio work for Less The Wiser, Sue and The Blind,
The Architects of Sound, and other assorted artists. He has
also recorded a solo CD which was a great success. He has done
hired drumming jobs with bands such as Aziph, Mixed Nuts, and
whoever. He also performed live on stage with Uli Jon Roth of
The Scorpions.
Besides playing in bands, Jimmy is also a respected drum
teacher. He plays in the local jazz ensemble, and has done the
all county jazz ensemble. He has done NYSSMA competitions in
which he has ranked in the outstanding category. In school he
is featured in the wind ensemble (highest band) and is captain
of the drumline. |
