I started playing drums at the age of 16. Started playing percussion in high school music class, then advanced to drums. Other than learning some theory, I have been mostly self taught. I continue to learn as much as I can.
I started playing live shows in cover bands at the age of 18. Throughout the years I've played a variety of genres in different bands. Rock, Hard rock/Metal, Blues, Southern rock, Folk, Country rock. But my true love is Hard rock and Metal.
I have recorded countless demos over the years with different bands but my greatest successes has been over the later years of my playing.
In 2014 I Co-Created the Folk/Black Metal band Hexenklad. I played all drum and percussion tracks on the debut album titled "Spirit of the Stone" I departed the band in late 2015 and didnt play in a band again for almost 3 years for personal reasons.
After a 3 year hiatus from playing, in 2018 I started playing drums for Southern hard rock band BigMotorGasoline, and I'm still currently with them. In early 2020 we released the album titled "The Way Things Used To Be". I played all Drum and Percussion tracks. Despite being released in the middle of a world pandemic, it has had great success on radio worldwide.
Lucky enough to share the stage with some bigger name acts like "Sebastian Bach", super group "Bonds of Mara", and others over the years such as, "Headstones", "Teenage Head", "April Wine", "Kim Mitchell"
I also play as an Independent session drummer for live and studio work.
