RICARDO CORTÉS GÓMEZ LAMADRID DRUMMER
Born in Orizaba, Veracruz.
Starts his music career at the age of 8.
Styles: Pop, Fussion, Funk, Rock, Drum and Bass, Ballad, Latin.
He took individual drumming classes with several teachers such as: Hernan Hetch (Argentina), GabriePuentes (Chile), Ruben Oyalvides (Cuba), Carlos Rene Perez Casas (México), Juan Martinez (Holanda-México), Vince Cherico (USA), Alex Kauts (Brazil-Mexico).
He also has taken master classes with: Antonio Sánchez, Álvaro lópez Jr., Gregg Bissonette, Oscar Stagnaro, Amongst Others.
•Ricardo makes his first national tour with a band called Nebula which he joined in 2001. This was their promotional tour, of their album called " FUTURAMA."
• He records an albino called "Musica del Mundo" as a member of the " Ensamble de Percusiones de Xalapa."
• He also went on tour to Holland and France playing traditional marimba and modern percussion with the "Ensamble de Percusiones de Xalapa."
He has made some studio recording work with artist like: Ricardo Arjona (Reconciliación track), Marconi (Bésame Album), Juan Solo (@soyjuansolo EP, and his new production), Mon Laferte (Desechable Album and flor de amapola track) and Aillen "Homenaje" from jazz fusion ( where he was the producer as well) .
• He has supported live acts with Nadia, Red Hot Chilli Pepers tribute México, Marconi, Martinez Club Band, Nébula, Las Grandiosas, Mane de la Parra, Gloria Trevi, Deborah de Corral, Tio GUs, Carolina Soto. Rocío Banquells, María Conchita Alonso, Karina, Dulce, Samo, Diego Verdaguer, Amanda Miguel, y Ana Victoria.
Ricardo is also a drumming teacher.
He is the current touring drummer of HA-ASH currently touring through the US and South America.
