Peter's drumming journey began at the ripe age of 8 when his father
bought him his first drum kit ! From that point on it was all about
learning and playing as much as he could. He took snare drum lessons
from elementary school through high school while taking private drum
set lessons at night. He went through all the lesson books and all
the rudiments to later apply them all to the drum set. While playing
quads in the High School marching and taking National Champs
for the drum line he knew this was something he would never give up.
Fast forward,,,,,THE 80'S!!!! Hair bands, hair spray and fun fun fun! He
played in bands at the legendary Lost Horizon which has seen the likes
of Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Ratt, Dokken, Ace Frehley Skid Row and much much
more. He performed there in many bands including Shy Gunns ,
Brats and Blondes, Reloaded and many others including sitting in with
Britny Fox on gigs. After a long run of gigging all over he decided to
slow down and take his knowledge he acquired through the years and
teach it to the younger generation of drummers. As of 2019 he has a new
band called Locklin/Dodge Inc. A great mix of all original music that
that appeals to the masses! Who knows we may see Pete and his new
band out on the road entertaining us for years to come!
