Born in Hopewell Township, PA, a Pittsburgh suburb, Paul showed musical talent at a very young age. At the age of 18 months, Paul surprised his parents by playing along with a CD of his father's band. At that point it was obvious that Paul had taken after his father in regards to musical talent.

Although Paul is proficient at piano and guitar, playing the drums has always been his first love. The first time Paul performed in public was at the age of 4, when he joined his father's band onstage at a outdoor concert. Paul was 15 years old when he and his first band, The Escape Artists, competed and won first place in a battle of the bands competition at the Pittsburgh bar Saddle Ridge. Paul also won the Guitar Center Drum Off regional competition, but wasn't able to continue competing in the follow up rounds due to previous obligations.

Currently Paul is in the bands Tobacco Road, The Harvest Colour, Stink Fist and Amplifiers. Amplifiers just completed a tour of the East Coast and The Harvest Colour recently released their album Chrysalis, with accompanying videos for the songs Spring To Come and Again.
