Nick Sievers

Nick Sievers was born on June 26, 1998 in the town of Manhattan Beach, CA. From an early age he came to appreciate great drummers including John Bonham and Neil Peart. These drummers inspired him to want to learn drums so at the age of 6 his parents bought him a drum set. When he played those drums for the first time he loved drumming ever since. Nick has had many drum teachers in the past but he was always a natural at it and amazed everyone with his ability to learn so fast. In his first grade classroom he and his drum teacher played a Green Day song for the class. Though it was a small gig it started his reputation as a drummer in his hometown Manhattan Beach. Throughout his years in Pacific Elementary School he played drums at the school talent shows. Some years he performed a drum solo, others years he covered the band Rush. At the age of 8 he played at the Knitting Factory, Hollywood with the School of Rock program. For years he has been playing in small bars and restaurants around L.A. through School of Rock. Nick is currently playing percussion with the local middle school and wants to continue to the high school marching band. Outside of school Nick writes his own music and performs with the School of Rock program. Nick has recently finished his song he named “Clear Emotion”. Nick was influenced by many drummers including Neil Peart, Keith Moon, John Bonham, Stewart Copeland, Buddy Rich, and Tony Royster Jr.
