Mike started playing drums at the age of 6 after hearing John Bonham blasting through his sister’s record player. Mike was hooked from day one, listening to as much funk, rock, and jazz as possible. By his early 20s, Fields had gained experience as a session drummer with local studios and started writing original music. At age 25 he was touring regionally, opening for artist such as Overkill, Step Kings, Boba Flex, Sev, and Supafuzz. I’ve followed Mike’s recordings and drum work for quite a while now…The great thing about Mike is his adaptability. If you need pocket solid drumming, he’s as solid as anyone I’ve heard anywhere. He plays with soul and passion and has that “IT” factor you want a drummer to have. Mr. Fields is easy to work with and gives you EXACTLY what YOU want!
