Marco Camacho

Born in the city of Maracaibo, Zulia state, Venezuela on June 4th, 1985. Started at the beginning of 1995 as a percussionist musician of folk music from the city (Zulian Gaita) son of father and uncles who are renown musicians in the country as percussionists (Marco Camacho father) and uncles (Alberto Camacho, Ernesto Camacho, Michael Camacho and Bolivar Blanchard Camacho)
At the age of 15 joins several famous musical groups of the country and placing himself as one of the young percussionists of the country, standing out in congas, timbales and bongos. At 20 years old joins the most famous Gaita group in the country Gran Coquivacoa. Playing for 7 years with the group, this way Marco Camacho is still tagging along and recording with musicians of the country like: Argenis Carroyo, Jorge Luis Chacin, Mario Caceres, Caibo, Huascar Barradas, Jambore, Wepa G and many more.
In 2011 he goes on his first international tours visiting Miami and New York in the USA. In 2014 he resides in the city of Houston, Texas and starts new challenges playing with international artists as big as Eddy Santiago, Jose Alberto “The Cannary (ElCanario)” Maelo Ruiz, Bonny Cepeda, Tony Vega, and may more.
