Jeremiah Clifford Stratton, A.K.A. Trauma, was born September 12th, 1983 in beautiful San Clemente, California. His parents bought him his first drum kit at the age of 9 years. Coming from a family of musicians by trade, his career started at a very early age hitting the stages at as young as 11 years old. By 13 years of age, he had already won awards at Jazz Festivals across California, such as "Best Solo Artist", "Best Rhythm Section", and being the only Freshmen in San Clemente High School to ever be a first chair Jazz Band drummer. He also recieved free units at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo just to play drums in the Jazz Band at the age of 15 years old. Following that, he became a part of a few local "tribute" bands building his skills until he joined "Slapbak", a funk/hip hop band signed with Toxic Funk Records. After he left this band, he joined with Rap/Metal band (hed)P.E. signed with Suburban Noize Records, house to Kottonmouth Kings, Big B, Unwritten Law, and many others. He currently drums with (hed)P.E. and has done many large tours with groups such as Insane Clown Posse, Kottonmouth Kings, Tech Nine, and Mushroomhead. The style of Jeremiah's drumming has a foundation of tradtional "funk" drumming, with a lot of metal and reggae influence, which makes for a rare, pocketed groove, with plenty of tasteful double-kick drum rolls. "I'd say what I have to offer the industry is a highly diverse style and ability to play almost any genre of music comfortably. I LOVE IT ALL!" Jeremiah Stratton uses the "Custom Brilliant" series Soultone Cymbals for bright, explosive sounds. "These Custom Brilliant series cymbals are by far the most durable, AND best sounding cymbal I have ever played, and I've played them all! Normally, dealing with other companies, if the cymbals sound good, they don't last; if they last, then they don't have the sound I want. Soultone has provided me with the best of both worlds, and I am truly grateful." Currently, he practices daily working towards being the best drummer he can be and focus on perfecting his skill. Soultone Cymbals has been an intrigal part in his excelling in drum skill by providing the tools needed to produce a great and explosive sound on stage and in the studio. "Drummers everywhere gotta try these cymbals, they ain't no joke dude. For real!!
