Ja'Hari Jones
Ja'Hari, located in the D.M.V. Is making his official return to the music scene after years of
being in a hiatus. Ja'Hari always had an ear for music. He began playing when he was
3 years old. His first set of drums was a junior kit that his grandfather’s barber gave to
him. Ja'Hari's grandparents had gospel tapes from the Late legendary Gospel artist
James Moore, quartet groups, and the Mississippi Mass Choir that he would play along
too. Drumming for Ja'Hari came naturally. In the first grade, his mother purchased his
first adult drum kit. Ja'Hari would then go on to study artists like Hezekiah Walker, Kirk
Franklin, Ricky Dillard, Tye Tribbett and a host of other artists, diversifying his sound
and style of play. As Ja'Hari advanced in his years, he eventually began playing for
different churches. He was the youngest player in his realm to step foot into the music
scene and commit to numerous events. Ja'Hari has traveled throughout the east coast,
fellowshipping with other churches and displaying his talent. He's even played for
birthday events. Often Ja'Hari would be the only musician at a function. Whenever he
played, he possessed the ability to make the drums sound like the song. Not only was
he a young drummer, Ja'Hari was a drummer with advanced skills at a young age.
These skills include his foot mechanics with the ability to make a single pedal sound like
a double bass pedal. Other advanced skills included unbelievable runs, tuning
capabilities, and cymbal placement for sound projection and dynamics that typically you
see inherited by advanced drummers. Ja'Hari has also studied one of Soultone's own
endorsers Corey "Modrums" Wilson. Ja'Hari recognized Corey's impeccable skills when
Corey played for Ja'Hari's aunt's funeral. Although Ja'Hari went on a hiatus for years,
he's back and is ready to show his true talent through all his social media platforms.
