Born in Canton, a small neighborhood in Baltimore, Maryland, Dominic Rosati has always had a love for music. Growing up in a family without much musical taste to speak of, early 90’s club, techno, and pop, Dom eventually found a home with Metal when he discovered Slipknot. After his first taste of what was at the time the heaviest thing he had ever heard, Dom then discovered the Christian side of Metal in Underoath, The Showdown, and Norma Jean. Then his iTunes roster grew to Hardcore, Deathcore, and many forms of metal. Some influences of his are Oceano, August Burns Red, Legend, For Today, For The Fallen Dreams, and The Acacia Strain.

Dominic was approached by And It Must Occur in October of 2009. And while in the recording studio, their guitarist and dear friend John Settino had become very ill. They were rushed to limit the track list and release the CD before John had passed.

The band released their debut full length, “Your Cities Will Burn” in May of 2010, and 3 months prior, John Settino had passed. The record is dedicated to his memory.

At this point in time, Dom & AiMO have a busy winter planned, with big upcoming Baltimore shows, and plans to record another record in December/ January with a promo tour in the spring.
