Danny was born in Stoke on Trent, UK. Having started to play the drums at the age of 14 he quickly developed into a hard hitting drummer. He is a founding member of the band Dirty Rotten Souls where he plays today. The bands current single 'You'd Look Better with a Bullet in You' if filled with Soultone cymbals. In a recent interview Danny was asked to describe his influences and the sound he likes to achieve when playing both live and in the recording studio.

'I have always been a loud guy, not just drumming style but general personality wise so it was no shock that when I began to play drums I wanted to be the loudest and hardest hitting I could be. Early influences are probably standard with most rock drummers for me, John Bonham and Dave Grohl are my bread and butter. When we perform live I usedquite big drums, my current set up consists of a 14" Rack Tom, 16" Floor Tom, 24" Kick and 14x6.5" snare. I currently endorse Soultone Cymbals and I love them! They give me fantastic attack and lend themselves well to the heavier rock music in which Dirty Rotten Souls play. I hit all my drums and cymbals hard so to find a cymbal that can not only sound amazing but last while I batter them is a bonus!'
