Cory Alan Benningfield

Cory Alan Benningfield

Cory Alan Benningfield was born in Glen Burnie, MD on July 27, 1993. He lived playing video games and baseball. Cory's musical endeavors started at the young age of 14 when the game, "Rock Band," sparked his interest in playing music. He started to learn how to play the guitar, manipulate his voice, and even learned to record/produce his own music. Then, at the ripe age of 16 years old, Cory reached a pivotal point in his musical journey when he took up the mantle of drummer in a band he had started with a couple of his friends. Naturally good at rhythm and multitasking, drums became second nature to Cory as his skills developed at a rapid pace. His band, "Adahlia," became well known in the local music scene as they were playing multiple shows per month in the Baltimore area. During this time, Cory honed his drumming technique and landed an endorsement from the popular brand, Soultone cymbals. He had played with Adahlia for 3 years now and with a different vocalist, they decided to form "Tore Back" and they still perform to this day. Cory resides in Curtis Bay, MD and continues to practice everyday.
