Brian Farris began his drumming career at the age of 11 in his junior high band. He continued drumming throughout high school and made many honor bands that traveled to locations such as London, England and San Diego, CA. Brian also played drums for the University of Southern Mississippi’s marching band while he attended school there.

He began playing drum set at the age of 14 and was immediately asked to play for his high school's nationally recognized show choir. He continued to play for the show choir for an additional 12 years. This allowed him to play in front of thousands of people in locations including Branson, MO, Orlando, FL, Nashville, TN, New York City, NY, Chicago, IL, Indianapolis, IN and Honolulu, HI.

Brian has been playing drum set for the Asbury United Methodist Church praise team since 2000 and was the drummer on an independent album that the praise team released.

Currently Brian is the drummer and band manager for Carter Road based out of Hattiesburg, MS. Brian has been with Carter Road since 2006 and has had the opportunity to play at venues in Mobile, AL, Atlanta, GA, Baton Rouge, LA, and Covington, LA as well as various venues in Mississippi. His band has opened for acts such as The Molly Ringwalds, Wayne Mills, U.S., and The Ying Yang Twins.
