On May 16th more than 20 drummers from São Luis/Maranhao, Brazil had the first festival playing songs from local culture. The idea is to show how powerful and musical are the drummers playing the songs that usually are played with handmade percussion instruments, making the people feel the same emotion.
This festival took many local artist drummers to be present, church drummers and many others played an unique sound from the heart of the each drums there, causing a big impact in another states and receiving congratulation from organised drummer's groups from Pernambuco, Piauí and Ceará.
