Hi guys!
It's been a while since I've updated this...but last spring, a guitarist that I had auditioned for reached out to me and told me that his drummer wasn't working out and asked if I'd like to give his band another try.
Well, since Hullfire had unofficially broken up (because we lost our rehearsal space), and I was available, I figured, why not? We practiced in his basement, and I learned a good handful of classic rock & folk rock songs from the 70's, and we had 2 successful shows over the summer of 2025. We all stayed in touch and practiced when we could over the winter, and we have done at least 3 shows this year so far, with at least 3 more shows in the calendar.
The name of our band is "The 106 East Band". The road to good music!
In other news, I order some more cymbals in the Custom Series to round out the set of cymbal on the church's drum set. I started off with a nice 20" ride, then I added a 16" crash. Now I'm adding a 14" hi hat, 14" crash, 10" splash, and an 18" Crash/Ride... I'm also going to try out a new Worship Series 18" Crash/Ride.
