Alvin started playing drums at the early age of 4 years old. He got his first set of drums at age 6, but those didn’t last long. Alvin started playing for his uncle, Bishop E. L. Warren in Quincy, IL. at age 12, he continued to play for him until Alvin moved to Abilene, TX. in 1998. He continued to play at different churches in the area until local solo recording artist Jennifer Fuentes ask him to tour with her 2001. Now in 2009 Alvin’s schedule is very busy as an independent drummer. He is well versed in many different genres of music from country, rap, hip hop, to folk, fusion, jazz, rock and everything in between. Alvin is currently working on several different projects. Alvin has played for: Bishop E. L. Warren & Judah’s Elect, Morris Chapman, Jordan Chalden, Angella Christie, F.G.O.M Worship Band, Will Hart Band, Jennifer Fuentes, B-Ready Ministries, James Mullen, bass legend Cornelius “Corney” Mims, Ricky Russ & the 180 Band, Spectrum TV, and
Crystal Wiley.
