Soultone Artist: Andy Koski-Semmens

Having started his music career in folk/soul/rock Andy moved into the genre of extreme metal in 2000 and has been constantly employed ever since both recording and touring Europe. In early 2003 Andy took up live drum duties with Esoteric, a cult band in the extreme doom metal genre. Andy parted company with Esoteric in late 2005, and then contributed as a session drummer on Pantheist’s second studio album ‘Amartia’ recorded and released in 2005. He also sang clean vocals on “Amartia” and subsequently joined Pantheist as a vocalist both live and on the album “The pains of Sleep” released in 2006. Andy then formed the neoclassical studio project Ereipia with the Pantheist founder and keyboard player and the band released its self titled debut album in 2007 to which Andy contributed drums and vocals. Andy left Pantheist in 2007 when he emigrated from the UK to Finland, however Ereipia continued and the bands second album “Mercy” had a digital release in 2009. Since arriving in Finland Andy has been busy working on the folk metal project Syven and in early 2009 joined the dark metal band 0xist who have just completed recording their first EP.
